Projects And It's Details

Project Overview: This project involved the disconnection and removal of the existing transformer, followed by excavation, installation of new foundations, and the commissioning of a new 1 MVA transformer with associated electrical work. Key Achievements: Transformer Disconnection and Removal: Disconnected and removed the existing transformer to make space for the new installation. Excavation for New Trench: Conducted excavation to create a new trench for both HT (High Tension) and LT (Low Tension) incoming cables. New Foundation Installation: Supplied and installed a new foundation for the 1 MVA transformer, ensuring stability and durability. Concrete Manhole Installation: Supplied and installed a new concrete manhole for both LT and HT cable joints, ensuring safe and organized connections. Installation of Joint Kits: Supplied and installed LT and HT joint kits to ensure secure and efficient connections. Cable Extension and Joints: Supplied extended LT and HT cables and installed cable joints for seamless integration with the transformer. Transformer Commissioning: Commissioned the new 1 MVA transformer a few days prior to its official installation, ensuring readiness. Transformer Relocation and Installation: Transferred the new transformer to its designated location and installed it securely for full operation.
Project Overview: This project involves the maintenance, testing, and relocation of two transformers, ensuring their full functionality through a series of tests and systematic procedures. Key Achievements: Winding Isolation & Breakdown Oil Test: Conducted winding isolation and breakdown oil tests before preparing the transformer for transfer to the workshop for maintenance. Transformer Dismantling and Transportation: Dismantled Transformer No. 1 and transported it to the Basra workshop for necessary maintenance work. Transformer Ratio Test: Performed a transformer ratio test at the workshop to evaluate the transformer’s performance. Sunshade Removal: Removed the sunshade from the transformer as part of the maintenance procedure. Lifting Plan and Execution: Prepared a lifting plan and performed the lifting operation with Sarens for safe transportation of the transformer. Gasket Replacement: Replaced the gasket to prevent any oil leaks and ensure proper sealing of the transformer. Transportation & Installation: Transported the maintained transformer from the workshop to Shamiya and installed it at its new location. Repeat for Second Transformer: Repeated the above steps for Transformer No. 2, ensuring both transformers were properly maintained and relocated. Maintenance Timeline: The entire maintenance and relocation work for both transformers was completed within a two-week period. ITRs: Completed all necessary Inspection Test Reports (ITRs) as required by project standards.
Main Scope of Work: Transformer Installation: Supplied and installed a 1MVA 33kV/11kV transformer to support the facility's power distribution system. Power Distribution Equipment: Installed MV switchgear, MCCs, and RMUs to manage and distribute electrical power efficiently across the facility. Protection System Configuration and Testing: Configured and tested protection relays, including over-current and differential protections, to ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical system. Substation Commissioning: Successfully commissioned the entire substation within a strict 4-month timeline, meeting the project’s deadline and ensuring timely delivery. Outcome: Achieved seamless power distribution with 99.9% system reliability, ensuring the facility operates efficiently with minimal disruptions.
